    • Since August of 2008
  • How long before these shoes need replacing, on average?
    • I usually replace them between 250-300 miles.
I love the gel.  The only thing I don't particularly like about the new Nimbus X though is its asymmetrical lacing system.  I've found that the shoe is much more comfortable if I unlace the bottom three eyelets.  (Word on the street is that Asics is coming out with a new lacing system in January '10.)  Overall, a great, soft shoe for long steady runs (and yard work once they've logged their miles).
